 "Best Top Overall World Competitor in Weapons and Forms" for 2005

MARTIAL ARTS ATHLETE EARNS INTERNATIONAL ACCOLADE

    Becca Ross of Boca Raton, Fl. was recently acknowledged in a huge way for her accomplishments in martial arts last year. The North American Sport Karate Association presented the 14 year old standout with the "Best Top Overall World Competitor in Weapons and Forms" for 2005 during a ceremony in Kentucky.

    No competitor has ever won both awards in one season. In all, Ross has 15 World titles along with numerous honors and awards in the sport. Last year she appeared on ESPN and won the ISKA World Forms title.

    Ross broke a 35 year standing record at the Blue Grass Nationals in Kentucky, winning 4 grand championships over  the course of 2 days. Last month ,Ross won the Quebec Open International Weapons Title. Along with all of this Ross is an Honor Roll student at the G Star School of the Arts where she is studying acting for Film and TV.
